ABOUT

HAHN CONSERVATION

Hahn Conservation specializes in the conservation and restoration of paintings of all eras.

From comprehensive restorations to minor damages and conditional maintenance, the studio is equipped and committed to offering the highest quality conservation for your artwork.

Our goal is to treat and conserve each artwork without altering the original visual and conceptual properties the artist intended. Evaluation and treatment is conducted both in studio and on-site by appointment.

“Our philosophy about time and space constantly engages us in work with strong empathy for the constitutive materials of objet d’art.

Our epistemic consciousness supports artwork to stay true as a part of art history, but also as a whole of itself.

Thus, our ultimate aim is to treat each artwork without altering its signification and physical properties, so the art is read and can be shared through generations.”

Our service for conservation-restoration is confidential between us and our clients, and is generally provided in the following order:

Examination > Condition report > Diagnostic > Proposal for treatment > Estimate >  Treatment

Art stewardship requires thoughtful and detailed management.

Hahn Conservation offers clients comprehensive conservation-restoration and consultation throughout the art ownership lifecycle.

Each step is documented and photographed.
